The Gambling Treatment Court Experience: A View
from the Criminal Justice System A Work in Progress
Judge Farrell will address
the historical, societal and criminal justice factors surrounding the
development, implementation and operation of the nations only Gambling
Treatment Court.

Sandra Wilson, NP
Neurobiology and Pathological Gambling: Bad Judgment or a Brain Disease?
Sandra Wilson will review
neurobiological basics and current research to understand the alteration
believed common to all addictive behaviors.
Psychopharmacology and Pathological Gambling: Can
Medication help? If so, which ones?
Sandra Wilson will build
on the basics gleaned from Neurobiology and Pathological Gambling to
understand actions of the medications currently used off label to assist
problem gamblers in achieving and maintaining recovery.

Christopher Anderson and
Peggy Hough will focus on how clinicians can access the power of presence and

NOTE:
Upon completion of
both days of the February 18 and 19, 2010 2nd Annual Gambling
Conference in Mescalero, NM, the New Mexico Council on Problem Gambling will
provide 14 CEU to each attendee. The State of New Mexico Counseling and
Therapy Practices Board have approved the conference. The Social Workers
Board recognizes any conference that has been approved by the Counseling and
Therapy Practice Boards and will also acknowledge these 14 CEU credits.

MCLE Board has approved 3 credit hours for attending the Thursday

that has been approved by the State of New Mexico Board along with your
information and the total CLE hours earned.

home page in the left column. Fill out the registration form and conveniently
pay online using the PayPal system. Conference cost for both days is $89, or
$75 for a single day if received before January 16, 2010. Late/on site
registration $120 after January 16, 2010. For mail in registration, see form below, or call us

Cancellations before January 16, 2010 will be refunded less $20
administrative fee. No refunds after January 16, 2010.

$99 special nightly rate. Check in is 3 PM, check out is 11 AM.
IMGR&C shall charge
the individual attendee one (1) night's guaranteed guest suite rate plus tax
for cancellation within seventy-two (72) hours of the scheduled arrival date
or failure of the individual to check-in on the scheduled arrival date.
